Digi-log Entry: 033.00: The “Invitation”
*Shocker* I’ve been recruited, um, received an invitation** (not really sure of how that happened) to join the Labyrinth team as one of two impartial observers who will be allowed to take notes and report on the team’s findings through our digi-logs… I have to make a decision…

[Private note]: This invitation makes me nervous… To have come under the scrutiny of a mega-figure like Kcuttor… Perhaps I should be flattered, but… my digi-log streams are based on my own personal impressions of daily life in S3.  I’m usually somewhat honest in my opinions and haven’t always been, well, very complimentary when streaming commentaries that included issues concerning the actions of our corporate leaders, Kcuttor included. 

**There was a suggestion by one of the team members I spoke to, who suggested that I was picked randomly by a Kcuttor Alliance computer (that figures), and another who called me and mentioned that Kcuttor had hand-picked each member of the team himself.  The reason I was chosen was because he was intrigued by the popularity and unconventionality of my commentaries on the beam.  (Up to that point, it had not really occurred to me that they were that popular, since I was tucked in among at least 80 million other voices ranting away on the beam in Vanity alone.)[end note.]

Private Digi-log Entry: 034.01:  Reservations
Although in some ways it’s a fascinating prospect, I’m wondering of it will be a good idea to venture into those tunnels… I didn’t sleep very well last night, couldn’t relax, stayed up for hours just thinking about it, the very idea scares me.  I’ve always been a just a tiny bit claustrophobic, but, curiosity seems to be getting the better of me.

Private Digi-log Entry: 034.40: Acceptance
This morning, I decided to officially to accept the invitation from the Kcuttor Alliance and join the Labyrinth team--even though I’m still not comfortable with it.  The news spread like wild fire among my friends.  Most of them are congratulating me (some are a bit envious). My vizcom has been buzzing all day with their calls. “You’re making history!” Darva gushed, over the beam.  So, why is it that I don’t share their enthusiasm? Maybe I’m just exhausted, I think I need some sleep.
