I awake to the day,
Yet still the night holds me in its grasp,
The sun is beaming through my window.
I turn my head and night falls gracefully back into place,
Darkness returns and shadows are creeping,
Silently, silently, shifting, sliding.
Street lights cast a jagged grin upon my wall,
Next to my bed red digits announce 2:00 am.
Sleep has exited stage left.
Time to rise.

My friend again… She is extremely patient. We went to the same art class for a while, a few years ago, and met up occasionally to sit for each other. As you can tell, I was still very new to art at the time…
It was just a couple of weeks ago that I figured out how to convert Flash animations into movies that will run successfully on my video iPod.
Like duh! I mean how far behind on this stuff am I? C’mon, I mean, really…
I discovered that iTunes would automagically remove much needed portions of my Flash Quicktime movies during the conversion process. Irritating to say the least. So it took some experimenting to get it right.
Anyway, now I’ve got a sort of show-reel of my artwork on my pod. (I guess my vanity knows no bounds!) It features a slide show of my paintings and drawings, a little Yongstarr and Bash movie, as well as the other usual stuff, music etc…
That’s probably old hat for most of you out there, what with the iPod Touch being the shiny new toy an’ all, but I think it’s a pretty cool way of making use of a video iPod.
If you’ve made interesting use of any mobile devices, especially for your work, “Resume On A Pod” that sort of thing, I’d love to hear about it.
Now, it’s on to adding story snippets to the notebook feature…
